40-FISH NORTON DISNEY HAUL!
Embryo’s Norton Disney complex was well and truly put to the sword recently! Not by Rob Burgess, not by Danny Fairbrass and not by Tom Stokes, but by 37-year-old Joe Childs from Thirsk in North Yorkshire.
Joe enjoyed a fantastic run of fish on the Lincolnshire venue, kicking things of with a 19-fish hit to 29lb on Billy’s Lake, before moving on to Pettitt’s Lake and nailing a further 11 fish, including a 31lb common and a 30lb mirror. He then wrapped up an amazing trip over on Holden’s Lake, where he finished things off with a 10-fish catch, topped by the biggest fish of the session, a mirror of 33lb 4oz.
Of course, it was The Bug that did the damage for Joe, who used a combination of Bug Hard Hookers and Bug Corker wafters over a baited area of mixed-sized Bug boilies and Crayfish Maxi Mix pellets, all soaked in Bug Hydro Spod Syrup and Crayfish Hydro Spod Syrup.
What a session! Well done, Joe.
