A RARE SLICE OF CAMBRIDGESHIRE GOLD
Matt Wren’s first season on DNA couldn’t have got off to a better start!
Having prebaited a tricky Cambridgeshire pit for a few weeks with a mixture of Bug and SLK boilies, Matt’s first opportunity to get the rods out and fish the spot finally presented itself.
After flicking the lead out and feeling how much clearer the spot felt, Matt immediately knew the fish had been feeding there and mopping up his bait – an instant confidence booster!
In the early hours of the following morning, a rod baited with The Bug burst into life and he was rewarded with the capture of a rare visitor to the bank, an immaculate common that tipped the scales at 28lb.
“A brilliant way to start my first season on DNA,” said Matt.
