With just 15 carp to go at in five acres, captures are few and far between on Scott Bennington’s Norfolk gravel pit, so when they do come along, they are very special indeed!

The 34-year-old from Great Yarmouth was on a 24-hour session when he tripped up a fish he’d had his eye on for some time, a 39lb 12oz mirror and one of the lake’s A-team.

Scott baited a clear spot just 15 yards out with chopped Switch boilies and crushed tigers, all coated in K-STIM liquid, and settled down for the night.

He was then called into action in the early hours of the morning when the coveted mirror sprung his trap.
