AN AUTUMN TO REMEMBER – PART 1
Luke Church has had the most amazing autumn on a tricky Norfolk syndicate, landing large numbers of big, beautiful carp.
The first session began with six fish, having kicked off with a 74lb-plus brace of sought-after A-team linears coming just five minutes apart, weighing in at 38lb 12oz and 35lb 8oz.
“Both fish were very high on my target list, so I was made up with the captures and to brace them was quite surreal, as they don’t tend to give themselves up very often,” said Luke.
“I then added a 19lb common the same evening. The next day consisted of three bites that produced a hat-trick of commons weighing in at 28lb 8oz, 31lb 14oz and 32lb 4oz.”
Talking about his tactics, Luke said: “All the fish I had over the autumn came to the same tactics of large beds of Bug boilies pre-soaked in matching Bug Liquid Food. The hookbaits were PBs which had also been soaking in the matching PB Intense Booster. An incredible combo, I have to say!”
