The prolific sport continued for Luke Church when he visited his tricky Norfolk syndicate for his third session of the autumn, as he bagged himself a new PB mirror of 43lb 2oz!
The PB-busting mirror, the second largest mirror in the lake, topped a four-fish catch for Luke, backed up by three twenties to 29lb 2oz.
“I really couldn’t believe how well it was going,” admitted Luke.
“Managing to catch a PB common and PB mirror one week apart was quite unbelievable after many years of trying to get over the 40lb barrier. This sort of thing doesn’t tend to happen very often, so I was taking it all in and enjoying the moment.”
Talking about his tactics, Luke said: “All the fish I had over the autumn came to the same tactics of large beds of Bug boilies pre-soaked in matching Bug Liquid Food. The hookbaits were PBs which had also been soaking in the matching PB Intense Booster. An incredible combo, I have to say!”
