Another French fifty for Tong
Another unit for Iain Macmillan during his two-week trip to France, this time an amazing-looking 53lb 8oz common from Pascale’s on the Goncourt complex.
Ting Tong said: “Sometimes it’s the most obvious of spots that can produce a bite, and that was certainly the case last week with this 53lb 8oz common. The spot was huge, but careful placement of the rig just on the side of the spot near the weed line was enough trickery to fool him.
“A big 6oz lead driving that hook home with a low-lying Secret 7 cork-ball pop-up on a QC rig. Man, it was nailed beyond belief!”
