Yet more Bug success, this time over at Berners Hall Fishery in Essex, where Jamie Smith set a new personal best with the capture of a 43lb mirror just half an hour before packing up!
The 20-year-old electrician, who had already bagged a 29lb ghostie common earlier in his session, went home a very happy angler when his trap was triggered by the PB-buster shortly before he due to wind in.
Both Jamie’s fish succumbed to Bug-based tactics, namely Bug Corker wafters fished inside solid bags of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets and Bug crumb, which he fished to a bar at 22 wraps amongst a bed of Bug mini dumbbells.
