The Bill’s Lake carp certainly seem to have a taste for The Bug, with yet another colossal carp having fallen to this incredible insect-meal bait!

This 67lb giant was caught by Ben Hadwick from Reading when he spent a week on the popular French complex, where the weather conditions were all over the place, with snow, thunder, gale-force winds, rain and sunshine making the fishing difficult for most.

Despite the challenging weather, Ben left a very happy angler indeed, having bagged the 67-pounder and a fish of 38lb 8oz using white Bug Half Tones pop-ups on size 4 Ronnie rigs over a mixture of crumbed-up Bug boilies, corn and hemp, all covered in Bug Hydro Spod Syrup.
