CHANTEREINE RECORD FALLS WITH 68-POUNDER
The Les Etangs de Chantereine record has fallen to the hands of Tom Mercer thanks to a massive 68lb 6oz mirror!
The Mercer lads, Tom and Ozy, began their two-week trip to France with a visit to our Kent franchise seller, Keith Gladdish, to collect 250kg of
Bug,
SLK and
Secret 7 boilies, along with matching liquids and hookbaits.
The colossal mirror came six days into the two-week session and was landed by Tom from a boat, after his trap of Bug and SLK boilies was sprung by what Tom initially thought was a forty whilst playing the fish. He was understandably buzzing when he realised exactly what he had in his net!
As well as the new lake record, the lads tempted a number of other fish to mid-fifties thanks their heavy baiting approach.
