CHILD’S PB TUMBLES WITH MID-SIXTY!
The majority of Holme Fen catch reports we see these days feature some sort of caveat, but we aren’t interested in that. We are more focused on congratulating Trevor Child for the capture of his new personal best, a donkey of a mirror weighing in at 65lb 13oz!
Incredibly, this was the first fish of Trevor’s session on the Cambridgeshire venue and came from a hole in the weed at 30 yards, where he had baited with 12mm Bug boilies covered in Calanus Hydro and coated in Insect Meal, with some Calanus Hydro-soaked hemp and corn mixed in.
His hookbait was a Bug Corker dumbbell wafter tipped with corn.
