Known as the Demon and weighing in at 42lb 12oz, this is already Perry’s fifth Monks Pit forty of 2023.
Perry did have to sacrifice seven hours of his session whilst he waited for the swim he wanted to become available, but it was obviously worth the wait, as before long he had a mid-twenty and this old relic of a carp in the net.
Perry is doing so well on the Crayfish wafters this year, which he once again used to devastating effect, presenting them in solid bags of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets over Crayfish Maxi Mix and a few halved S7 freebies.
