No matter how many catch reports we receive this year, we will struggle to find a nicer-looking carp than this!
The incredible, dark, scaly mirror was landed by Tony Payne as part of a double take on his syndicate water.
“Can this carp get any darker?” said Tony.
“Although looking lovely, it made it very difficult to get a decent photo without it looking like I’m holding a shadow!”
The fish fell to Tony’s usual approach of a Milky Malt wafter inside a solid bag of Betastim Mini Mix pellets and a generous helping of Bug Hydro Spod Syrup.
