DAYS-ONLY DELIGHT ON ESSEX CLUB LAKE

Jamie Cramer has been enjoying a lot of success during a recent short campaign doing days only on a well-known Essex club lake.

Due to severe flooding, the lake has only just reopened on a limited-swim basis, so Jamie hatched a plan to fish morning sessions of 3-4 hours and baited with a mixture of Secret 7, SLK and Bug boilies before leaving.

Over the course of five sessions, whilst fishing Secret 7 pop-ups over the top of his prebaited area, Jamie managed to tempt eight fish in total, mirrors of 37lb 2oz, 31lb 8oz, 26lb 14oz, 23lb 6oz, 22lb 7oz, 21lb 8oz and 14lb 1oz, and a 22lb 7oz common.

A fantastic result for what is traditionally a very tricky venue!
