When Chris Wallace decided to make a 500-mile round trip to the ‘Home of the Thirties’, Orchid Lakes, he hoped the venue would live up to its name – and it did not disappoint!

Chris kicked off the session with one of the oldest and most renowned fish in the lake, the legendary Delilah, giving him a new personal best in the process at 36lb 12oz.

Already on cloud nine from the capture of such a classic English carp, further elation awaited Chris later that day, when he set a new PB common with the capture of a fish known as Eddie at 35lb 5oz.

He wasn’t finished there either, adding two mid-twenties and two upper doubles to complete a memorable visit to Oxfordshire.

All Chris’s fish were caught on Secret 7 Corker pop-ups, which Chris fished over a mixture of 8mm, 15mm and 18mm Secret 7 boilies.
