DEVASTATING ON DAYS AT FURZEBRAY!
Two separate dawn-till-dusk day sessions on Furzebray Carp Lake yielded a trio of the Island Lake’s more notable residents for 59-year-old Neil Whittaker, including a 40-pounder!
It was all about The Bug for Neil when he visited the Devonshire venue, with Bug EVO hookbaits dusted in Insect Meal fished amongst a mixture Bug mini dumbbells, 15-millers and 18-millers that he had soaked in Bug Liquid Food and then coated in Insect Meal doing the business.
Neil targeted two different spots, a fallen tree on an island and a slope at the end of an island, and went on to bag Clover at 43lb 5oz, the Mint Common at 35lb 1oz and the Tiger Fish at 32lb 10oz.
