Two swim moves in the same day saw Dave Watson rewarded with his first-ever UK forty from the beautiful Sandhurst Lake in Yateley.

The fishing had proved hard going for the first four nights of his stay, but Dave managed to get amongst one of the lake’s main target fish after moving twice on the same day and setting a trap of Bug crumb and maize.

The bite came in the early hours, after the Patch Common, weighing in at 40lb 1oz, had picked up Dave’s SLK EVO Hookbait tipped with a Bug Half Tones wafter.
