EXACTING REVENGE ON WATERSIDE!
A return to Waterside Fishery saw Dave Watson set his sights on the 60lb-plus common the venue is renowned for, after admitting the place beat him up on his previous visit a few years back.
In the end, Dave had to settle for something half the size, not that he was disappointed, as it was a cracking fish known as the Dutch weighing in at 32lb 11oz, which he backed up by a lovely mirror at 29lb 6oz, a fish that goes by the name of Zig-Zag.
Both Dave’s fish succumbed to pink Bug Half Tones wafters, fished in conjunction with small mesh bags of Insect Meal mixed with Liver Extract and Calanus Hydro. He fished his rigs over a bed of 12mm and crumbed Bug boilies and some Bug pellets.
