A final-morning bite saw Michael Patience’s session on his syndicate water turned on its head, as it resulted in the capture of a magnificent 32lb mirror.
Michael, from Southend-on-Sea, said: “On the last night when I went to bed, I thought my chance may have gone. I was awoken at first light by the sound of my Delkim and after a steady battle a nice mirror was in the bottom of my net.”
The bite came from some far-margin snags, where Michael fished a PB wafter amongst a mixture of Switch crumb and particles, all completely covered in Switch Hydro Spod Syrup.
