FIRST 40LB-PLUS CARP ON DAY SESSION!
A winter campaign of short day sessions on a South East London club water has resulted in a string of captures for Stephen Toogood, including a first UK 40-pounder.
The 53-year-old from Sidcup has been targeting the same 8ft spot at 60 yards, using Bug EVO hookbaits amongst a bed of 15mm Bug, SLK and Switch boilies soaked in Bug Hydro Spod Syrup, along with PVA bags of Bug pellets coated in Bug Amino Smoke.
The highlight of the campaign has been a 41lb mirror, backed up by some lovely scaly mirrors to mid-twenties.
