What an incredible start Ricky Angell has made to life on Embryo’s Big Broom Lake, banking his very first UK forty on his first-ever session on the Bedfordshire syndicate.
Of course, it was our premier big-fish bait, SLK, that did the business for the delighted 33-year-old recruitment consultant, who prepped his SLK Corker pop-ups with SLK EVO Liquid and Hydro Liver Powder and targeted a clear patch at 16 wraps.
Weighing in at 42lb 4oz, the mirror gave Ricky a flying start on the venue, and he can now set his sights on some of the even larger fish the venue has to offer.
Ricky fished his SLK Corker pop-ups over a mixture of 15mm SLK boilies and Bug mini dumbbells, along with some Crayfish Maxi Mix pellets, all of which he covered in SLK Amino Smoke.
