FIVE-FISH ZIG HIT ON LANGHOLME
A weekend’s zig fishing on Langholme produced five twenties for Scunthorpe angler, Tom Spavin.
The 31-year-old landed all five fish during a 24-hour period, having found the perfect combination of 12ft Sticky Sweet-soaked zigs in 17ft of water at the bottom of a plateau at 110 yards.
The biggest of the quintet was a 28lb 14oz common, which was backed up by mirrors of 26lb 2oz, 23lb 5oz and 20lb 10oz, and another common of 21lb 1oz.
