FOUR 30LB-PLUS CARP TO END THE YEAR!
Roger Bacon rounded off 2024 with a productive session on his dedicated winter water, snaring four 30-pounders on what was only his second-ever trip to the Lincolnshire syndicate water.
Strong winds and heavy rain made the fishing a challenge, but the fish were clearly on Roger’s bed of whole and crumbed 8-12mm Bug boilies, all pre-soaked in matching Bug Liquid Food.
Pink Bug Half Tones pop-ups fished over the top of the bait yielded mirrors of 39lb 10oz, 34lb and 33lb 8oz, as well as a 35lb 14oz common.
