Thinking outside the box with his hookbait approach saw Sam Dallimore tempt a brace of thirties during his first-ever session on Brasenose 1 at Linear Fisheries.
The two mirrors of 37lb 5oz and 31lb 2oz came from two different spots five minutes apart, but to the exact same approach.
Having baited his spots with a mixture of 12mm and 15mm Bug boilies that he had soaked in Bug Hydro Spod Syrup, hemp and maize, Sam then fished over the top with 15mm Bug Corker wafters tipped with a bunch of worms!
The combination of a natural bait fished in conjunction with a natural-based boilie was clearly too much to resist!
