GRENVILLE CHUNKS ON SMOKIN’ BAGS!
Simon Whiddett has enjoyed a great start to the autumn on the Grenville Lake syndicate, catching fish to just shy of the magical 50lb mark!
Simon told us: “Fishing to an area at 100 yards underneath the cables with solid bags of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets injected with SLK Amino Smoke and Salmon Oil, along with homemade wafter hookbaits, resulted in three fish in 24 hours.
“After that solid-bag success, I was champing at the bit to get back out, so just a week later I was down for another 24-hour session, this time targeting the deeper water at range where fish had been showing.
“All three rods were fished at 37.5 wraps tight together on the most localised shows, again on solid bags of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets injected with SLK Amino Smoke and Salmon Oil, resulted in another three-fish catch, this some larger fish of 35lb 5oz, 46lb 8oz and a rather special fish just shy of the magical 50lb mark at 49lb 12oz.”
