Dave Gostelow opened his account for the year on the Monks Pit syndicate with a four-fish catch, capped by a mirror he named after himself a few years back!
Known as Gosty, the scaly mirror weighed in at a little over 38lb and was a welcome visitor to Dave’s net once again.
Long zigs were the order of the day in tricky conditions for Dave, who pimped his hookbaits with Sticky Sweet liquid and then covered them in Fruit Sense powder.
