Ian Purssord wrapped up his mini campaign on a Lea Valley pit with the best of the bunch, a classic old relic of a carp known as Coins, tipping the scales at 40lb 6oz.
Thought to be more than 40 years old, the fish was the final victim of Ian’s short-session stalking approach spread across a three-week period.
A simple rig fish drop-off style was fished over a marginal trap of Secret 7 crumb, Secret 7 mini dumbbells and Crayfish Maxi Mix pellets, all smothered in Secret 7 Amino Smoke.
