LADYWOOD BEAST ON THE BUG AS PB TUMBLES!
Even in his wildest dreams, Stephen Jarvis couldn’t have hoped for a better fish to open his account for 2022 when he ventured over to Ladywood Lakes for a four-night session.
The West Yorkshire day-ticket venue is renowned to fish well during the winter, but it is really starting to wake up now, and with Stephen seeing fish pass over his area a few times, he knew he was in with a chance of a bite.
Then on Saturday afternoon, his trap of a Bug wafter fished over a kilo of Bug boilies and loads of pellets soaked in Bug Liquid Food was sprung by the most-coveted fish in the lake, the long, lean Kamara at 43lb 10oz and a huge new personal best by more than 10lb for Steve.
