Whilst on a bit of RnR following an overseas mission with the British Army, soldier John Kittle decided to head to Linear Fisheries Official, where he was rewarded a couple of cracking fish from Hardwick Smiths.
The 37-year-old from Woking opted to fish with Bug wafters tipped was fake corn on German rigs, which he presented over a mixture of 15mm, 18mm and chopped Bug boilies, corn and buckwheat, all covered in Bug Hydro Spod Syrup.
John’s tactics were clearly to the liking of two magnificent-looking linears, which tipped the scales at 33lb 7oz and 28lb 10oz respectively.
