Luke gets back amongst ’em!
After a brief barren spell, Luke Belton has been back amongst them lately, landing fish to low thirties.
Luke got back into the swing of things again with a night-time capture a 26lb 12oz common, which he tempted at short range on a Milky Malt pop-up on a Ronnie rig over a mixture of whole and crumbed SLK boilies and hemp.
Luke then returned later in the week and bagged two fish in a morning, a low-double stockie, swiftly followed by a 30lb 8oz mirror.
The same tactics of a Milky Malt pop-up over SLK and hemp did the business once again.
