MAHOGANY MIRROR CAPS BOATHOUSE QUINTET!
Dave Watson decided to blow the cobwebs off his gear and get his 2023 campaign under way at Boathouse Fisheries in Shropshire, where he was rewarded with a five-fish catch.
The undoubted highlight of the trip was a very special 26lb 4oz mirror known as the Mahogany Mirror, one of the real jewels in the lake.
Dave fished with PB pop-ups tipped with red maggots on the hair, which he fished over a mixture of Bug crumb, corn and maggots.
