Leon Holloway reaped the rewards of casting to showing fish to obliterate his personal best and land two other fish during a hectic two-hour spell!
Leon, who was fishing a 48-hour session on a South West venue, had little to show for his efforts after the first 24 hours, so decided he would move spots when he saw fish beginning to show in open water.
Tying up a couple of solid bags containing crushed Switch boilies, Switch EVO Powder, Crayfish Mini, Betastim Mini, Switch and SLK pellets, injected with Switch Liquid Food and with PB wafters soaked in PB Intense Booster on the hair, Leon cast to the showing fish.
Within half an hour, Leon was holding up a brand-new personal best, a 43lb 15oz mirror known as Helen, which was backed up by commons of 29lb 10oz and 25lb over the next 90 minutes!
