Cold nights and heavy rain couldn’t deter the carp from feasting on SLK on Mark Beale’s syndicate water!
The 53-year-old from Milton Keynes enjoyed a tremendous session to kick-start November, landing a total of nine fish in the space of 48 hours, the highlight of which was a 45lb 7oz mirror.
As well as the mid-forty, Mark also managed a 34lb mirror and five twenties to 26lb 7oz.
Mark targeted a spot at 80 yards, where he introduced five 5kg of SLK freezer bait, which the fish kept coming back to.
