Bruce Hough made the most of a rare opportunity to do a guest session on a friend’s Oxfordshire syndicate, landing a 36lb 6oz common on the final night of his stay!
“With me having the chance to fish a three-night guest session on a mate’s Oxfordshire syndicate, it was too good an opportunity to pass up,” admitted Bruce.
“It was tough going to begin with and I’d had no interest for the first 60 hours whilst fishing into a brutal headwind. Offering a 15mm Bug Hard Hooker tipped with a PB pop-up at 20 wraps over a bed of crumbed Bug boilies, Insect Meal, particles and Bug Hydro Spod Syrup, on the final evening I had a one-toner, resulting in this beauty of a common weighing 36lb 6oz.”
