Billy Wells wasted very little time getting amongst the lumps on Monks Pits, bagging himself a forty on his very first session on the Cambridgeshire syndicate venue!
Billy’s explosive start on Monks resulted in a five-fish catch, comprising two stockies, two twenties and the pick of the bunch, a mirror known as Bailey’s at 42lb 1oz.
Bill went in with his favoured Secret 7 approach, fishing S7 Hard Hookers over a baited area of crushed and chopped S7 freebies.
