NEW PB CAPS BUG HIT ON GONCOURT’S CHARLIE LAKE
The Domaine de Goncourt complex in France was the chosen destination for a long-awaited week’s holiday in France for DNA consultant, James Anderson.
James opted for the 24-acre Charlie Lake for his trip and it did not disappoint, with the fish responding extremely well to his primarily Bug-based approach.
In total, James picked off 14 fish over the course of his stay, the highlight being a PB-breaking common of 57lb 10oz.
James had great success using 18mm Bug EVO hookbaits tipped with 12mm PB pop-ups in snowman presentations, fished over a small offering of mixed-sized Bug boilies, Bug and Crayfish Maxi Mix pellets, maize and Bug Hydro Spod Syrup, all dropped in a boat at 150 yards.
