NEW PB TOPS 38-FISH THORPE LEA HAUL!
Leonard Cooper enjoyed an arm-aching haul on popular day-ticket venue Thorpe Lea, topping a massive 38-fish hit with a new personal best of 30lb 12oz!
The 27-year-old from Otford, Kent, concocted a mixture of smashed-up Secret 7 boilies, Secret 7 Hydro Spod Syrup and Salmon Oil and began baiting an area on a 4ft gravel bar at approximately 22 wraps. This mulched-up effect created a cloud and really got the fish competing for food, with takes coming quickly after Leonard topped up his swim.
At the business end, Leonard fished with solid bags of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets and the ever-reliable 10mm PB pop-ups on the hair.
