NEW THIRTY SMOKED OUT ON BILLY’S!
DNA’s very own Chris Hornsby enjoyed another successful session on his annual May visit to Embryo’s Norton Disney complex, topping a seven-fish catch with a brand-new thirty for the venue.
Opting to fish Billy’s Lake, Chris got a spot going at 96 yards, where he baited with a mixture of Bug 8-millers and Crayfish Maxi Mix pellets, all covered in SLK Amino Smoke and Calanus Hydro. He fished over the top of his baited area with solid bags of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets pumped with SLK Amino Smoke, using PB wafters for hookbaits.
His tactics yielded 10 bites in total, the highlight being a new thirty for the lake, a 30lb 4oz mirror that now goes by name of Big Ron between Chris and his friends, backed up by a couple of twenties and upper doubles.
