Dean sets Hacche Moor record on second trip!
A 48-hour session on the Hacche Moor Fishery in North Devon saw Dean Compton break the lake record with a 32lb 12oz mirror, the largest of a five-fish catch.
The 34-year-old roofer from Bideford said: “I arrived at the venue on first light for only my second session on the water. Not having anything to go on, I set up in a swim where the wind was pumping into and set about finding a couple of spots. Happy with them, I trickled in a few handfuls of corn and crushed S7 boilies soaked in Betastim. An hour later, the rod was away with the biggest fish in the lake and a new lake record, which was followed by four other fish to 20lb 2oz.”
All Dean’s fish fell to the ever-dependable Secret 7 dumbbell wafters.
