Mark Bartlett has wasted very little time getting back amongst the fish since re-joining the DNA family, with his latest session producing four fish to upper twenties during an overnighter.

Bart said: “With the snow gone and the water temperature rising a little bit, I thought it would be good for a couple of bites. I managed four carp, with this nice big twenty common the biggest. As it turns out, I also caught this fish four years ago to the day.

“I caught two fish over bait maggots and crumbed and 8mm NuttaS boilies. Over the top of that I fished a 10mm Fruitylicious pop-up tipped with maggots over the top. The other two fish came to small mesh bag of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets and maggots with a bunch of maggots on the hair, all dipped in some Hydro Spod Syrup.”
