Sixty-year-old Geoff Smith had a session to remember when he travelled over to Oxfordshire to fish the famous Linear Fisheries complex, landing the venue’s record fish somewhat down in weight after spawning, but still weighing in at a colossal 46lb!

The Cardiff-based painter and decorator was on a 48-hour session on the popular Oxlease Lake when his Secret 7 Hard Hooker fished on a KD rig amongst a bed of S7 chops, hemp and corn, all coated in matching S7 Hydro Spod Syrup, was picked up by the enormous common.

Geoff also had two other fish to 26lb during the course of his session, sending him back to Wales a very happy man!
