Neil Whittaker got through to one of the West End Lake 50-pounders this week during his latest trip to the Ephicks complex in Kent, his Bug EVO hookbaits once again proving irresistible for the big fish that reside in this venue.
Neil, who landed fish to 45lb on his previous West End session, kept the faith with Bug EVO hookbaits fished in conjunction with bags of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets and reaped the rewards, bagging a 51lb 10oz giant and two other mirrors of 38lb and 37lb 1oz.
Concentrating on an overhanging tree at 52 yards, Neil baited with a mixture of crushed and whole Bug mini dumbbells, 15-millers and 18-millers, which he coated in Bug Hydro Spod Syrup and Hemp Oil, before smothering the lot in Insect Meal.
