NINE-FISH MERRINGTON HIT CAPPED BY 42-POUNDER!

Shane Lines enjoyed a red-letter session on Merrington Carp Fishery, topping a nine-fish catch over 72 hours with a 42lb 4oz mirror and a new personal best to boot!
 
Secret 7 is such a successful bait on this Shropshire day-ticket venue, and it’s no surprise it was S7 that did the business for the 27-year-old from Wolverhampton, who also had some lovely scaly mirrors as part of his haul.
 
Fishing from peg eight, Shane fished to a spot at 46 yards, where he baited with Secret 7 chops and the fishery’s own pellets, with S7 wafters used as hookbaits.
The 42lb 4oz mirror smashed Shane’s PB by 11lb, so he was understandably delighted with his session.
