Harry Poole needed just half a day session to put a fish on the bank from a Lincolnshire pit, and what a fish it turned out to be!
The 19-year-old from Scunthorpe, who has caught a number of scaly mirrors from this particular venue, targeted a deeper spot just off an island, using a pink 12mm Switch Half Tones pop-up on a multi rig in conjunction with a bag of crushed and glugged SLK freebies.
The bite took just a few hours, resulting in a beautiful dark mirror of 21lb 2oz.
