Embryo Angling’s Norton Disney complex is the place to visit if you’re looking for some winter bites, with some big fish making appearances at the moment.
Harry Palmer opted for a 48-hour session on Holden’s during the festive break and was rewarded with one of the lake’s A-team, a belting 35lb 6oz mirror that goes by the name of Kinda.
The fish succumbed to a yellow 12mm Bug Half Tones pop-up on a spinner rig, fished over a bed of corn, hemp, flaked maize and house pellets.
