One of Lamby Lake’s best lookers
Andrew Jones bagged himself what must be one of the best-looking fish in Lamby Lake, Wales, over the weekend.
“I’m super pleased with this epic-looking carp in all its winter colours,” said the 46-year-old personal trainer.
“It screamed off just before dawn, having decided its breakfast was my SLK dumbbell wafter and gave me hell of a fight before sliding into the net, with the dawn chorus firing up in the background. It was 22lb 1oz of stunning Welsh carp; it really doesn’t get much better!”
Andrew fished his SLK dumbbell wafter in conjunction with a bag of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets, Blizzard, two SLK boilies and some SLK Liquid Food.
