DNA SIGHTLINE POLARISED SUNGLASSES

In an industry first, we are delighted to bring you the DNA Sightline Polaroids, the first-ever set of sustainable polarised fishing glasses made from waste fishing line.

This exciting concept has been made possible by the fantastic work carried out by the Anglers National Line Recycling Scheme (ANLRS) over the past few years, an initiative dedicated to getting anglers to recycle their unwanted fishing line.

We will be donating £5 from each sale towards the ANLRS to further support the work of this great initiative.

SIGHTLINE POLAROIDS DETAILS:

The Italian-engineered and hand-finished frames feature a matte slate-grey finish with a DNA logo on each of the arms, and come with ultra-durable five-barrel hinges.

The Blue Mirror mineral-glass lenses are supplied by Barberini, which produces opticals for the likes of Maui Jim and is considered to be the world’s best producer of quality optical lenses.

The benefits of using glass lenses over plastic lenses are: greater optical clarity, with an Abbe value of 59 (vs. 32 for polycarbonate); they are infinitely recyclable and don’t produce microplastics when cut to shape; and they are scratch-resistant, meaning they will stand up to all sorts of abuse.

Each set of glasses comes in a sustainable tri-folding protective case.
