Q LAKE IN FINE FORM DESPITE POOR CONDITIONS
Mike Globe enjoyed a fantastic session on Pool Bridge’s Q Lake at the weekend, landing four twenties amongst a seven-fish hit catch in freezing conditions!
The 44-year-old from Leeds admitted the first 20 hours were fairly uneventful, but after seeing one show at first light, that gave the game away. He targeted the area with solid bags of Secret 7 and Bug crumb, Crayfish Mini Mix pellets and maggots, with either small pink S7 Half Tones or Wraysberry wafters on the hair, and went on to tempt seven carp and a 59lb PB catfish over the remainder of his session.
Mike’s carp weighed in at 23lb, 22lb 7oz, 22lb 3oz, 21lb 15oz, 19lb, 16lb and 9lb.
