RAIDING AND PILLAGING ON WYRESIDE!
Wyreside general manager, Callum Reid, has been leading the way, as ever, up on the famous Lancashire venue, bagging fish from numerous lakes and on a variety of methods.
Surface tactics have seen Callum snare a number of fish from Sunny 2 and Foxes Lake. After getting the fish going on BetaStim Floaters soaked in Hemp Oil and Salmon Oil, trimmed-down Bug Corker pop-ups have been doing the bites.
When the fish stopped having it on the top, Cal switched to solid bags of Crayfish Mini Mix pellets and Amino Smoke, along with PB hookbaits, and they kept the bites coming.
On his first session of the year on Bantons, Cal was rewarded with a 22lb mirror that fell to a single Bug Corker wafter soaked in Bug Amino Smoke that he had cast to showing fish.
Then on the Wyre syndicate, Cal made the most of a strong easterly wind, putting out an 11kg mixture of 8mm, 12mm and 15mm Bug boilies, Crayfish Maxi Mix pellets and loads of liquids, which resulted in two fish from four bites.
