RECORD BLITZED IN 49-FISH FRENCH HAUL!
Dan Gay absolutely smashed his target of 10 fish when he visited Le Vivier in France for a week, amassing a staggering tally of 49 fish, including a new PB mirror at 56lb!
“Ahead of the lake, I set myself a target of 10 fish and a PB mirror,” Dan said. “Well, I got a bit more than I asked for, a PB mirror at 56lb, 18 forties to 49lb, 15 thirties, three of which were 39-pounders, and 14 twenties.
“I know it doesn’t look like it, but this is by no means a runs water, as only five other fish were caught during the week. Right place, right time, with 10kg of Bug and Secret 7 going in each day, with 5kg more through the night to keep the bites coming.
“The lake record tally for one person in a week was 32 fish, but I smashed that with 49 fish!
“All fish were caught on 18mm Bug and Secret 7 Corker wafters. Oh, I do love these two baits!”
