SANDPIT LINEAR GIVES NURSE FIRST UK THIRTY!
Simon Treacher upped his personal best by more than 3lb during a session on Sandpit Lake on the Westmoor Farm Carp Fishery complex in Lincolnshire.
Fishing out of the Bailiff’s swim and targeting the edge of a long island, the 47-year-old registered nurse from Grimsby managed to pick out a magnificent-looking linear of 30lb 3oz, breaking his previous PB of 26lb 10oz.
Simon opted for a turbo German rig at the business end, which he baited with a Bug Corker wafter and fished over a bed of Bug freebies and pellets.
